Our services to comply with the Battery Directive (BattG in Germany)
The European Battery Directive 2006/66/EC has been implemented in all EU countries. With our customer-specific solutions, we ensure that you, as a manufacturer/distributor of batteries and accumulators, fulfil the national requirements. We will be happy to put together a needs-based package for you.
Registration
- Collecting your country-specific master data and sales figures
- Registration with an appropriate collective scheme or the agency in charge, as a battery manufacturer/distributor
- Management of related administration
Reporting
- Retrieval of battery sales figures as required
- Declaring sales volumes on time according to country-specific requirements
- Annual reporting of (industrial) battery take-back volumes to authorities as required
Take-back of waste batteries and accumulators
Manufacturers/distributors are legally required to take back waste batteries and accumulators free of charge, and to ensure they are recycled correctly. With the following services, we can assist you in fulfilling your responsibilities as a producer/distributor:
- Organising battery take-back solutions
- Industrial battery take-back and recycling
- Reporting waste (industrial) battery returns
- Providing online take-back forms for industrial batteries and accumulators
